History

The BVI Association of Registered Agents was formed back in the 1980's soon after the introduction of the BVI's International Business Companies Act 1980. Back then, there were just a handful of approved Registered Agents and the meetings would have been held informally down at Pusser's or at the Village Cay Marina. Since then the Association has developed considerably to what is now one of the premier professional organisations in the BVI representing over seventy corporate members and almost 90% of the Agents operating in the BVI.

The Council

Every year the members elect a council of seven members to represent them. These members will meet once a month or more, and will discuss matters raised by the members and meet with Government and regulatory officials to discuss concerns and make suggestions. Membership

The majority of approved Registered Agents in BVI choose to join the BVI Association of Registered Agents. If you would like to join please send a membership form to any member of the council. Fees are very reasonable and membership enables you to vote at Council elections. BVI Association of Registered Agents has a proper approved constitution and a voluntary members code of ethics
